Primary News

News from the Primary Coordinator

Considering we had such a short term to begin with this year, I believe we were able to get through an incredible list of events, activities and lots of engaging lessons.

Please ensure that you take the time to read through some of the amazing happenings and accomplishments the students have made throughout the term.

As we are still finalising our Good Friday Appeal fundraising events, please remember to stay tuned to channel 7 on Friday the 25th of March after 11:00am for our schools live cheque presentation at the Kids Day Out.

I would like to thank all parents, families and students who contributed to the appeal. Every dollar counts and can make a difference to a child in hospital who is very, very ill.

Remember that you can also be part of the Good Friday Appeal at the Kids Day Out at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre!

When: Friday 25 March 2016

Time: 10am - 6pm

Where: Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf

Cost: Entry is FREE - You do not need to book or buy tickets. Participation in activities by donation to the Good Friday Appeal.

Kids Day Out

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) will be transformed into a wonderland for kids, with a giant roller-skating rink, laser skirmish, sports clinics, the popular Teddy Bear Hospital, kids cooking classes, rides, music and dancing and so much more.

For more information on the event and to meet the children you have provided support for please visit:

Please take the time to also read about the 'Screen Addiction Epidemic' amongst children and some top tips to help parents be more in control of gaming behaviours.

I do hope that the upcoming term holidays will involve families and children taking part in some more outdoor activities and less 'screen time'.

Wishing all families a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break!
